Worship at 7:00pm

The church bell invites us to transition from our meal to our worship; to embrace the gift of silence. The Prayer Service will feature the Holden Evening Prayer liturgy with a Drama functioning as our homily. This year’s drama series is called Half-Baked Lent, written by Lutheran Pastor, John P. Trump.

Lent offers weary pilgrims opportunities for spiritual growth, self-examination, and renewal through repentance and reflection. Often, our Lenten goals and achievements are less than desired, doughy if you will, because we’ve taken the bread out of the oven before the timer goes off. Lent invites each of us to embrace the gift of these forty days; to experience the living water of Baptism and the Bread of Life fully baked in the offering of God’s Son, Jesus. Each week worshippers will be treated to some very good bread. Chew it well and swallow it fully.

Following Easter, Wednesday Night Dinners will no longer take place.
