Mentor/Mentee Faith Retreat

Grade Nine: “Mentoring:”
Mentors meet in August with the pastor to discuss responsibilities. Each month, from September- May, ninth graders and their mentors meet to discuss their faith; guided materials are provided. Youth and mentors participate in service projects and fun activities during the year. Together, they prepare a faith essay for the spring retreat. Both commit to being prayer partners during the remaining years of high school. Ninth graders affirm their baptismal faith on Reformation Sunday and the mentors host the coffee hour.
