Some groups do not meet during the summer. Each group below will list the exact dates, if applicable.
Adult Education Hour. Meets every Sunday, 9:45AM in the Multi-Purpose Room: 25-40 adults gather for reflection, prayer, and conversation. Listed below is a schedule of topics for upcoming Sundays. If you have an idea for a discussion topic, please feel free to contact Mark Mascho (253-471-2011). Adult Education Hour has finished and will resume September 9, 2012.
SONriser’s Bible Study. Meets every Thursday, 6:00AM at Pine Cone Cafe: Men of all ages are welcome to join. Once a week we start our workday a little early to enjoy about an hour of breakfast, fellowship, mutual support in living out our faith, and to read and discuss a scripture reading from the upcoming Sunday worship. Occasionally we host or serve in a congregation activity; such as a Coffee Hour or Thanksgiving Eve Pie Social. Contact Doug Bischoff (phone number in church directory).
Men’s Bible Study. Meets every Thursday, 8:00AM at Pine Cone Cafe: This group has been meeting for the past 20 years and highly encourage men of all ages to come and take part in Breakfast, Fellowship, and Bible Study. Contact Bill Cobble (253) 565-3767. This bible study’s last session will be held on June 14, 2012 and resume again in the fall.
During March, April, and May 2012 Pastor Dave Steffenson conducted a study on the book of Revelation with the 8:00AM Men’s group. Here is a copy of the bible study notes, “Courage for Today – Hope for Tomorrow.”
Women’s Bible Study. Meets every Friday, 9:30AM in the Multi-Purpose Room: We are reading Exodus from Hunger by David Beckman. “Exodus from Hunger us how God is moving in history with a concern for the poor, and invites us to join that movement.” Women of all ages are invited to join us for fellowship, lively discussion, and prayer.
